Every piece begins with fabric that’s soft to the touch and rich with promise. Then comes chappayi, the age-old block printing process where patterns are delicately imprinted by hand. This blueprint is followed by kadhai, the signature Chikankari embroidery, stitched patiently and precisely by local artisans, most of whom are women carrying forward their family’s generational craft.
Each step, from washing and finishing to tailoring and a final quality check, takes up to three months to complete. And while the process is slow, its impact is powerful. Every thread holds a purpose. Every stitch supports a life.
